This Privacy Policy explains what information TemporalChart collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who operates TemporalChart

TemporalChart is operated by AOM Prouddyogiki Pvt Ltd.. Privacy/data requests: privacy@temporalchart.site.

Information you provide

When you use TemporalChart you may provide:

• institution information
• teachers, classes, subjects, rooms and labs
• schedules, availability and constraints
• uploaded documents (teacher lists, timetables, syllabi)
• conversation messages you send in the chat
• timetable feedback

Technical and session information

We collect basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as request metadata, session identifiers and anonymized product analytics. Guest sessions use an unguessable session key; no account is required.

Cookies and session data

The service uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your conversation and consent state. The cookie does not contain your timetable contents, teacher names or uploaded documents.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• generate, validate and export timetables
• operate and secure the service
• troubleshoot and maintain quality
• improve the product through internal analytics
• create anonymized/de-identified learning and evaluation examples where appropriate and with administrative review
• respond to feedback

Consent — three separate purposes

We separate data use into three distinct purposes. Only the first is required to use the service:

• A. Essential service processing: processing the information you provide in order to create, validate, export and distribute timetables. This is required and is never optional.
• B. Internal product improvement and learning: using feedback and de-identified examples for quality analysis and product improvement. You can decline this without losing access to the service.
• C. Marketing and promotional communication: contacting you with product updates and offers. This is strictly optional, never pre-selected, and can be withdrawn at any time. Optional marketing consent is never bundled into required service consent.

AI/LLM processing

TemporalChart may use AI/LLM services to interpret and structure the timetable information you provide. The service does not use your data to train external foundation models (such as Gemini).

Analytics and product improvement

We keep append-only telemetry records (such as generation runs, compiler events and domain-guard events) to measure quality and reliability. These records contain metadata, not your raw messages, teacher names or timetable contents.

Where a web-analytics tag (such as Google Analytics 4) is configured, it tracks product events only (for example, "timetable generated" or "consent accepted"). It never receives your message text, teacher names, student names, uploaded document contents, API keys or timetable contents.

Learning and evaluation examples

We may keep controlled learning examples (with states such as PENDING and VERIFIED) to build evaluation datasets. Personal identifiers such as emails and phone numbers are redacted, examples are never made public automatically, and we do not automatically train models on user data.

Security logs

We may keep security and abuse-protection logs (for example, rate-limit and failed-login records) to detect and prevent misuse. These records contain technical metadata and do not include your timetable contents.

Retention

We retain the data needed to operate the service and to preserve append-only audit and telemetry records. Guest sessions expire after a period of inactivity; certain audit records are retained for governance. You can delete your data at any time as described under "Your rights and choices" below.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. We do not store API keys, passwords or authentication tokens in consent or audit records.

Data sharing and service providers

We may use third-party infrastructure (such as hosting and AI/LLM providers) to operate the service. Data may be processed by such providers in order to operate the service; the business owner will list the specific hosting and database providers used before public launch. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights and choices

• Marketing consent: optional and separate from required service consent. You may withdraw it at any time.
• Export your data: registered users can download a copy of their institution's data from the product (Data Ownership → Export).
• Delete your institution: registered users can delete their institution and its data from the product (Data Ownership → Delete Institution), subject to authorization.
• Delete your account: registered users can delete their account from the product (Data Ownership → Delete Account), which removes their account, memberships and, where they are the sole member, their institution.
• Deletion / access request: you may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information through our contact channel.

Policy changes

We may update this policy. If we make a materially relevant change, we will require you to accept the updated terms and policy before continuing to use the service.
